Steve Glennon named national sales manager at Or-Cal

Steve Glennon, a 33-year industry veteran of the ag chem industry, has accepted an expanded role at Or-Cal Inc. as its national sales manager.

Mr. Glennon started his career in 1979 with Elanco Products Co. and then moved to the Griffin Corp. He spent 16 years at Griffin, starting as a sales representative and eventually becoming the North American sales director. While at Griffin, Mr. Glennon had various responsibilities, including new product development, regulatory issues, marketing, and annual and strategic planning. Mr. Glennon was also vice president of sales for Pace International LLC for four years prior to launching Glennon Enterprises in 2002.Steve Glennon

Glennon Enterprises LLC specializes in the ag chem industry and functions primarily as an independent contracting agency that provides clients viable and cost-effective options to outsource services that include sales, sales management and product management. Or-Cal Inc. has been a part of Glennon Enterprise's portfolio for the past decade.

In the newly created national sales manager position, Mr. Glennon will help lead Or-Cal's efforts across its diverse line of agricultural products, including apple blossom-thinning agents. Mr. Glennon will also be involved with the development and marketing of new chemistries that are being introduced to the market, including a dormant fungicide scheduled for launch later in 2012.

According to co-owner, Steve Horn, "Steve [Glennon] has been intimately involved with numerous ag chem projects over the past 30 years and will help us push forward our new initiatives for the coming year."
