Dillon Floral joins International Floral Distributors

Dillon Floral, headquartered in Bloomsburg, PA, has become the newest member of International Floral Distributors, Inc., according to a news release. Established in 1875, Dillon Floral has grown and distributed flowers for five generations.

“Adding a wholesale distributor of the quality of Dillon Floral to IFD not only expands IFD’s distribution area, but enhances the overall strength and resources of IFD,” said Chris Berglund, president at IFD, in the release.

Dillon Floral is a full-service, family-owned wholesale floral distributor and flower grower led by Rob Dillon and a staff of floral professionals. It serves retail and event florists in Pennsylvania, Central New York, as well as a few towns in New Jersey and Maryland.

Dillon floral sells a wide range of cut flowers, including its own gerbera daisies, alstroemeria, LA hybrid and Oriental lilies from its greenhouse operation. In supplies, Dillon carries all the basics along with a good selection of silks, and a full line of seasonal/holiday decorative items.

The plant department offers everything from three-inch to 10-inch foliage, potted flowering plants from both local and Canadian growers and they provide customers their own dish gardens.

IFD, headquartered in Richmond, IN, is a member-owned marketing group composed of 20 wholesale floral distributors.

Members take advantage of their pooled resources to provide more effective distribution services.
