Cultivate 2018 keynote speaker is Scott Greenberg

Scott Greenberg, noted businessman and motivational speaker, will present the keynote address at Cultivate ‘18 July 14-17 at the newly renovated Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, according to a news release.

His talk, “Elevating Performance for Leaders and Their Teams,” will challenge conventional thinking and get people focused on the ideas and actions that matter most.

For over two decades, Greenberg has motivated audiences with his high-energy presentations on leadership and peak performance mindset. While discussing both skill set and mindset, he helps business leaders and their teams elevate performance and grow their companies. His client list includes Nike, Amgen, Merrill Lynch, the Wyndham Hotel Group, the U.S. Air Force and countless other businesses, franchises and associations.

Cultivate ‘18 is an annual trade show, an education series, and a networking event that condenses knowledge, resources, ideas, new products, new varieties and trends for all horticulture/floriculture professionals. New this year will be the AmericanHort Networking Reception, Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Tour, the Ohio State University Cultivar Trials, Retail Peer2Peer Workshop, Hydroponics Tour, Hydrangea Workshop, Landscape Cost Accounting Workshop, and the Nursery and Landscape Tour.

Last year, nearly 10,000 attendees came from 34 countries and represented all 50 states. There were 695 exhibiting companies and a waitlist of companies wanting to exhibit. Besides networking, doing business and exploring new products, more than 740 new varieties made their debut — from annuals to trees to tropicals. There were also more than 130 education sessions offering strong takeaways that were well attended.

“Cultivate ‘18 is the all-industry event that brings the entire professional community together to make an even greater impact,” said Ken Fisher, chief executive officer and president at AmericanHort, in the release. “The horticulture industry — from retailers, to producers, to installers, and suppliers — is a powerful force, and we at AmericanHort are proud to serve this industry to help ensure it thrives well into the future.”
