Expo Flor Ecuador and Agriflor both slated for Sept. 19-21

There will be 115 Ecuadorian, Colombian and Dutch exhibitors at the first edition of Expo Flor Ecuador 2018, which will also inaugurate the new Metropolitan Convention Center of Quito Sept. 19-21, according to a news release.

Expoflores, the organizer of the international flower trade fair, has made several strategic service alliances with hotels, restaurants and transportation providers so visitors will be able to enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience.

“We want to provide an exclusive experience to all our visitors, offering the best services in the city, so everyone can do business in Quito safely and conveniently,” said Alejandro Martinez, chief executive officer at Expoflores.

Event hotels and restaurants are offering exclusive rates, discounts and benefits to visitors and participants of Expo Flor Ecuador 2018 between Sept. 15 and 23.

In addition, an exclusive shuttle service will be provided from the hotels to the Metropolitan Convention Center of Quito and back again.

During the same dates, the 17th edition of Agriflor will take place at the downtown exhibition center “Centro de Exposiciones Quito” in Ecuador, Sept. 19-21.

The focus of the flower trade event will be on the non-associated flower growers of Ecuador, the majority of which have never exhibited before, according to a news release.

This will provide a unique opportunity for international buyers to source flowers from growers who, although in business for quite a while, will be exhibiting for the very first time.

Although the main exhibitors at Agriflor are flower growers, various other suppliers will be exhibiting as well. The expected total number of exhibitors is 125 displaying products in over 64,000 square feet of exhibit space.
