Mergers and acquisitions expert joins FreshXperts

FreshXperts has added Eric Bosveld as its newest team member. Bosveld has expertise in food and agribusiness mergers and acquisitions, agribusiness finance and operations, and private equity.

Bosveld is the director of food and agribusiness at SDR Ventures and leads the firm's M&A practice in the industry for companies based in the U.S. and Canada. He is also the president of Bosveld & Associates. Before joining SDR and founding Bosveld & Associates, he was the most senior operating executive and general manager of the Agronomy Co. of Canada, a 50 percent partner in 20 joint ventures. Bosveld also served on the boards of numerous private companies for terms of over 10 years. Finally, he was also president and board member of a grain, feed and crop input supplier and served as the president of an identity preserved food soybean value-added processor and exporter.

Bosveld was first introduced to the FreshXperts earlier this year and was intrigued by the core values the organization touts. Bosveld has a bachelor's degree from Dalhousie University and a master's degree from McGill University.
