Muzzi Family Farms expands sales team

Muzzi Family Farms, headquartered in Salinas, CA, has added two new members to its sales team: Max Hoularis (sales) and Bryan Fregoso (sales coordinator).mauz

Hoularis joins the Muzzi sales team with eight years of experience in the produce industry.  A Salinas native and graduate of Cal State Monterey Bay, Hoularis started his career in produce as a fresh produce inspector for Kroger. Other previous positions include vegetable trader for Tradin Organics and more recently a sales associate of Dole Inc. for the past four years.

Born and raised in Salinas, Fregoso begins his produce career by joining Muzzi Family Farms as a sales coordinator after his recent graduation from North Salinas High School.  Fregoso will be assisting in the daily responsibilities of the sales team, as well as customer relations.

The Muzzi family has been involved in the produce industry for over 50 years in growing, harvesting, processing, cooling and shipping operations, and in 2012 started Muzzi Family Farms to handle sales of its fresh and frozen (conventional and organic) vegetable products. The company sells fresh, washed and bagged leafy greens, such as spinach, arugula, kale, spring mix, and IQF frozen spinach, kale, swiss chard, Bell peppers and Brussels sprouts.

“We are excited to add these two very talented individuals to the Muzzi Family Farms sales team. I look forward to working with them both as we continue to grow the business,” said Paul Mocettini, vice president of sales and marketing.
